FAQ
Is this a clinical or therapeutic resource?
No. The guide is a non-medical, non-clinical companion for daily life. It complements — but does not replace — therapy, occupational therapy, or guidance from a clinician who knows your child.
What age range is it for?
It's written for parents of newly diagnosed (or long-suspected) Autistic and ADHD children, ages 3–14. Many of the principles apply far outside that range, but the examples and scripts are tuned for those years.
My child hasn't been formally diagnosed yet. Will it still be useful?
Yes. The guide doesn't require a diagnosis to be useful — it requires only that you suspect your child's nervous system processes the world differently, and that you want to support them without defaulting to compliance-based parenting.
What format is it in?
A 37-page PDF, optimised for both screen and A4 printing. You'll get an instant download link after checkout, plus a copy delivered to your email.
Can I print it?
Yes. The templates in Chapter 7 — visual schedules, regulation menu, school advocacy letter, emergency card — were designed to be printed and used.
Can I share my copy with my partner / co-parent / our child's teacher?
Sharing within a single household and with your child's teacher or therapist is fine and encouraged. Please don't post the file publicly, share it on file-sharing networks, or distribute it commercially. We're a tiny operation and your purchase is what lets us write the next guide.
Do you offer refunds?
Because the guide is a digital product delivered immediately, all sales are final. If something is genuinely broken — a corrupted file, a missing chapter — write to us within 14 days and we'll either fix it or refund you. See our refund policy for details.
Is it suitable for a child with PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance)?
Chapter 4 specifically addresses demand-avoidant profiles — what they look like, what helps, and how to reframe demands as collaboration. It's a starting point, not a complete PDA-specific resource. For deeper PDA-specific support, we recommend seeking out PDA-informed practitioners in your region.
Will more guides be released?
Yes. Subscribe via the form on our homepage to be told when the next one drops.
